Andy Dalton Gets Paid

According to ESPN Adam Schefter Andy Dalton has signed an extension with the Cincinnati Bengals for 6-years 115 million dollars. I believe he isn’t worth this much, he is just an average quarterback, who happens to be pretty good during the regular season but never shows up in the postseason. Andy Dalton had 80 passing touchdowns in his first three seasons which only Peyton Manning and Dan Marino had more, while he has made the playoffs all three years he’s been in the league. In the post season his stats are awful, Andy hasn’t led the team to a victory in the playoffs yet and he only has one touchdown to his six interceptions and a QBR of 18. In all this isn’t a bad contract it will be cap friendly and also he isn’t locked in for the next six years, he is really just locked in for the next two seasons so he still has to prove he’s worth it within these next two seasons.
